I am Marika Pescosolido, a physics undergraduate at Georgia Tech, researcher and founder. I study complex systems because understanding them is the first step toward changing them responsibly.
My research in cortical information processing and environmental policy, my work with Python and data, and my commitment to making institutions more accessible all come from the same place: a belief that knowledge should have a public purpose. Scientific precision shapes how I approach social questions; human experience shapes which technical questions are worth asking.
I do not see science, technology and human rights as competing identities. Together, they form one practice—curious, analytical and accountable to the people it hopes to serve.

beyond Earth.
My interest in astrophysics begins with the fundamental questions: how the universe evolves, how matter behaves under extreme conditions and what distant systems can teach us about the laws of nature.
Astronautics turns that curiosity into engineering and exploration. I am fascinated by the science, technology and international cooperation required to reach space—and by how responsible space policy can ensure that exploration serves humanity.

I founded Law‑Tie because legal complexity should never prevent someone from understanding their rights or successfully navigating a process that affects their life.
The non-profit brings together clear communication, thoughtful technology and human-centred design. Its purpose is to help transform intimidating legal systems into pathways people can understand, access and use with greater confidence.
